Participating in Expo 2025 Osaka represented a significant milestone for MUSAE, offering an opportunity to bring music, education and artistic research into an international context of dialogue and exchange. Within the Italian Pavilion, the project unfolded as a shared experience where students, teachers and artists contributed to a collective vision rooted in creativity and collaboration.
Music does not recognize boundaries: it speaks directly to people, connecting cultures through a shared emotional language. This principle guided the entire experience at Expo, where every performance became a moment of connection, storytelling and cultural encounter.
Bringing music to such a global stage means more than presenting excellence. It means offering a living expression of culture, identity and dialogue between peoples, capable of generating meaningful interactions beyond geographical and linguistic limits.
At the core of the project lies a strong collaborative dimension. Each performance presented at Expo was the result of study, dedication and teamwork, where individual skills converged into a shared artistic outcome.
Students were actively involved in all phases of the process, from preparation to performance, gaining direct experience within a professional and international environment. This approach transforms education into practice, allowing participants to develop not only technical skills but also critical thinking, adaptability and creative awareness.
The MUSAE program presented at Expo brought together different musical languages, from opera and classical repertoire to contemporary and experimental forms. This dialogue between past and present reflects a vision where tradition is not preserved as a static element, but reinterpreted as a dynamic and evolving practice.
Through performance, research and experimentation, music becomes a space where heritage meets innovation, opening new possibilities for artistic expression and audience engagement.
The experience in Osaka was not only a prestigious event, but a concrete demonstration of what can be achieved through shared commitment and vision. Music emerges not only as sound, but as presence, identity and future, capable of generating connections and inspiring new perspectives.
In a global context that increasingly requires dialogue and understanding, projects like MUSAE highlight the role of art as a powerful tool for building bridges between cultures. Expo 2025 thus becomes a space where education, creativity and international collaboration converge, shaping a model of cultural production oriented toward the future.
