Milan Fashion Week – September 26, 2025
Chiostri di San Barnaba, Milan

Italian Design Institute & Tchaikovsky Conservatory at Milan Fashion Week with the MUSAE Project

On September 26, the Orfeo & Aida collection transformed the runway into a true operatic stage as part of the MUSAE project.

Developed within the Fashion Style laboratory led by faculty members of the Italian Design Institute of Perugia, students from IID and the John Casablanca Institute of Vancouver collaborated to bring to the runway a theatrical costume collection inspired by Orfeo & Aida and reinterpreted through a contemporary design approach.

Among the Italian and Canadian students involved in the project were Quincy Cameron, Krista Ewasechko, and Gabrielle Ozamis for JCI Vancouver, alongside Tommaso Ceccani as student representative of the Fashion course at IID.

The runway presentation was accompanied by the symphonic piece “Olympia’s Aria: Les Oiseaux dans la Charmille”, performed by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
